Fall is right around the corner and I'm seriously giddy with excitement. Fall and Winter are my two favorite seasons hands down. I put up my college football flag today and I'm saying goodbye to the red, white and blue decor around the house. The first tailgate of the season is this weekend!!
Fall means pumpkins and leaves and acorns and deep, rich colors.
Recently, I had the opportunity to jump into fall a little early. But, do you ever have those cookies you wish you could do over? Not because they're bad or even ugly...but for whatever reason....you and those cookies just don't click. I think I just wasn't totally into these cookies because they're just not at the level of cuteness I like my cookies to be. Unfortunately, something can look great sketched out onto paper or as an idea floating around in your head...but in reality can look totally different. I wasn't displeased with them...I loved the pumpkin and I loved the leaves. I just didn't love them together.
So imagine my absolute joy when the customer informed me she had accidentally given me the wrong date.
A real life opportunity for a DO OVER!!! When does that EVER happen???
I seriously debated keeping these cookies hidden away forever, but since I'm constantly learning, I figured even the not so good cookies were still worthy of showing.
Stay tuned for those do over cookies. I'll be making them in a few weeks!
