As you know, my sister is one of my best customers.
and I LOVED this order of cookies.
As you also know, the chevron pattern is incredibly popular right now.
This was my second attempt at doing the chevron pattern and they didn't turn out as nice as my first set I made in my Penn State cookies.
At first, I couldn't understand why and then it dawned on me. I used a smaller size tip. On my Penn State cookies, I used a #1.5 and on these cookies I used a #2. The 1.5 size allows for less flood icing which equals less opportunity for craters.
Despite the craters, I still loved the black sillouhette design on the cookies. The images came directly from the adorable invitations for the shower.
I threw in a few of the bride's initial of her first name and new last name.
I'm just praying that whatever design becomes popular next it will be as easy to make as the chevron pattern! Lord knows that damask print is ridiculously time consuming!
Happy Bridal Shower Kourt!
