Freshman year of college.
Do you remember it?
This time 10 years ago, I was a freshman in college. I went to a school about an hour and 15 minutes away from home in a tiny, tiny town called Farmville. (Yes, it's an actual location).
One of the neat things about those first few weeks at school is anticipating receiving your first care package. I'm not sure if I ever received an official care package. I know I got letters, but I went home pretty frequently and my mom usually had a bag of goodies waiting for me to take back to school. (and by goodies, I mean the essential easy mac, ramen noodles, cheez its, etc)
I know one college freshman who's about to become pretty popular. Can you image receiving 3 dozen personalized cookies in your care package??
I chanelled my inner Sugarbelle and broke the order down to simplify things for myself. Piping 3 dozen school logos would have been so time consuming, monotonous and redundant.
Because chevron is such a popular pattern right now, I decided to throw in some chevron cookies in the school colors.
There is a star in the school's logo, so I added a dozen stars. Some with the freshman's name, some blank for her to share with friends.
And then I added the school logos. 3 different designs.
I hope Corinne loves her cookies!!
