Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I think it stems from the fact that one of my sister's birthday is today. Because of that, Halloween was always extra special growing up.
But she's a senior in college now and my two youngest sister's are 15 and 17. Not exactly trick or treating ages anymore. Even though there was no sisterly trick or treating, the 3 of us still in town managed to dress up. I think that made my parents proud!
And there was this little storm called Sandy. I was super prepared for her and took down all of my beloved Halloween decorations before she hit. That statement is huge considering I put out almost as many Halloween decorations as I do Christmas decorations. With cold temperatures and wet conditions, my Halloween decorations never did get back outside.
Guess it's time to decorate for Christmas!!! ;)
Anway, I did manage to make some Halloween cookies.
Here are just a few! They're my favorites!! You'll have to forgive my horrible pictures. It's rather difficult to get proper lighting when there's a Tropical Storm raging outside!
Did you notice those red squiggly lines on the eyeballs? Those were my husband's idea!
Look for more Halloween pictures tomorrow!
Hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween!
