If I've said it once, I've said it a million times...my sister is my best costumer.

This time around she asked for 30th birthday cookies inspired by a beautiful platter from 

Cookies with Character.  

Oddly enough the colors they decided to use matched the cookies from the inspiration platter.

I tweaked a few things and used my own swirly designs and came out with some cookies that just might be my favorite. 

And yet again, I had to take my pictures at night.  I'd love to have a light box, but considering this is a hobby and I've already got too many big pieces of cookie equipment, we'll just have to deal with some sub par pictures.  Oh well.

See that big middle cookie?  I was so nervous to try a quatrafoil pattern, but it's my absolute favorite.  Next time though, I won't be writing on it!
